An Electric Tricycle Frame Welding Production Line And Manufacturing Process
Leave a message
The present invention provides an electric tricycle frame welding production line and manufacturing process. The complex electric tricycle frame welding process is divided into spot welding, front full welding, back full welding, and repair welding. Ten workstations are designed according to the frame welding process flow: two manual loading/assembly stations, two robotic spot welding stations, one loading station, two front full welding stations, one transfer station, one repositioning back full welding station, and one offline manual repair welding station. This invention integrates welding robotics, motor control, sensor control, and computer logic control technologies. It establishes process measures including welding procedures and parameters. The entire production line welding and handling process is PLC-controlled, achieving efficient electric tricycle frame welding. This invention enhances the welding production efficiency and space utilization of electric tricycle frames while reducing dust pollution in welding workshops.
Designing Frame Drawings: Conduct detailed design based on the electric tricycle's intended use and dimensional requirements, determining the shape, size, and connection methods for each component. This forms the foundation for frame fabrication, with proper design ensuring the tricycle's structural strength and stability.
Cutting Tubing: Using appropriate cutting tools such as cutters, cut steel tubing to the required lengths specified in the design drawings. Cutting must be precise to ensure tubing lengths meet specifications with minimal deviation.
Tube Processing: Perform necessary processing on cut tubes, such as bending and drilling. Use a tube bender to shape tubes into specific forms; drilling is used for installing connecting components.
Welding and Assembly: Assemble processed tubes via welding to form the basic frame structure. Ensure welds are secure to guarantee overall frame strength. Pay close attention to welding quality during the process to avoid issues like incomplete or missed welds.
Inspection and Correction: After frame assembly, verify that dimensions meet design specifications, connections are secure, and the overall structure is aligned. Address any deviations promptly.
Surface Treatment: Apply surface treatments like painting to the frame. This not only prevents rust but also enhances the frame's appearance.
In summary, manufacturing an electric tricycle frame requires meticulous design, precise machining, and rigorous assembly. Each step must be executed flawlessly to produce a reliable, high-quality frame.
