Dual Sport Electric Motorcycle

Dual Sport Electric Motorcycle

Dual Sport Electric Motorcycles are developed for global distributors, dealers, rental operators, and mobility companies seeking reliable, multi-terrain electric transportation solutions.

Description

Product Overview

A dual-sport motorcycle is a compromise by definition. It cannot be as sharp on tarmac as a pure street bike, or as capable in the woods as a full motocross machine. The question is where that compromise lands.

This platform is tuned for the real-world mix that most of its buyers actually ride: roughly 90% paved road to 10% unpaved surface - a paved commute to a gravel resort access road, a farm lane off the main road, a dirt trail inside an industrial park, a coastal highway turning into a sand campsite. Every chassis, suspension, and tire decision below is made around that mix.

Designed for global distributors, dealers, rental operators, and mobility companies, the motorcycle serves city commuting, light off-road use, adventure tourism, resort transport, industrial-park and farm logistics, and security patrol fleets.

As a specialized electric motorcycle factory, we deliver end-to-end OEM and ODM solutions - from engineering development and performance tuning to scalable assembly, quality control, and global export support.

How the Balance Is Tuned - Configuration Trade-offs

Tires: Dual-Purpose, Not Full Knobby

Pure motocross knobbies self-destruct on asphalt and make road noise. Pure street tires wash out on gravel. We use a dual-purpose block pattern:

Tread blocks are spaced wide enough to bite loose dirt and mud.

Siping and rubber compound are chosen so the tire still wears acceptably on daily asphalt commuting.

Result: you accept slightly more road noise and a little less wet-road grip than a dedicated street tire, in exchange for not being afraid of the unpaved stretch on your route.

Suspension: Long Travel, But Not Race-Bike Travel

A motocross fork offers 250–300 mm of travel - too soft for a rider commuting at 80 km/h on a highway, and it makes the bike wallowy and tiring on long paved rides.

We fit a front hydraulic telescopic fork and rear adjustable monoshock with travel sized for light off-road:

Enough travel to soak gravel ruts, fire roads, and trail obstacles bottom-out-free.

Damping tuned firmer than a pure off-road setup so the bike does not pitch or wallow when loaded with a passenger, panniers, or delivery boxes on the highway.

Rear preload adjusts for solo / pillion / cargo loads.

Trade-off accepted: this will not handle a 1-meter motocross jump. It will keep a resort rental rider comfortable on a 200 km paved transfer plus a dirt access road.

Ground Clearance & Seat Height: High Enough, Still Reachable

True off-road bikes run 900 mm+ seat heights, which intimidate new riders and stall urban sales. This platform keeps a ground clearance high enough for ruts and gravel, while holding the seat height at a manageable level so a 170 cm rider can plant feet at traffic lights. The compromise gives up a small amount of obstacle clearance compared with a pure off-road bike, in exchange for a much broader rider pool and safer low-speed behavior on pavement.

Chassis & Weight: Stiff Enough Off-Road, Not Bulky On-Road

A reinforced high-strength alloy-steel frame gives torsional rigidity so the chassis does not flex on rough trails. We have deliberately not over-engineered the frame to motocross toughness - that would add weight, hurt range, and make the bike cumbersome in traffic. The target is commercial-use durability: tens of thousands of kilometers of mixed-surface riding, not a race weekend.

Powertrain: Torque Where the Dirt Needs It, Quiet Enough for the Road

A high-torque BLDC motor (hub or mid-drive options) delivers strong low-end pull for loose surfaces and loaded starts uphill - the moment where a street-tuned bike would spin or bog. FOC vector control keeps the power linear on tarmac so it does not snatch open on gravel. The electric drivetrain's natural advantages - no clutch, no gear hunting, silent creeping at walking pace - are genuinely useful in off-low-speed technical sections.

Trade-off accepted: top speed is tuned for highway commuting (regional-regulation dependent), not track speed. Power is biased toward low-end and mid-range.

Weather & Dust Sealing: IP67 Where It Matters

Core electrical components and the battery enclosure carry IP67 / IP65 ingress protection. This is not marketing for rainy-day commuting - it is for fording shallow gravel washes, dust storms on desert trails, and pressure-washing the bike after a muddy rental day. Connectors, ECU, and controller are sealed to match.

Brakes: Strong Enough for Loaded Off-Road Descents

Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes are sized for the bike's loaded mass. CBS and ABS are offered where regulations permit - useful on gravel, where a locked front end ends a rental trip in a crash, but switchable / tuned for low-grip surfaces rather than pure track use.

Rack & Crash-Package Ready

The platform ships pre-drilled / pre-braced for cargo racks, crash bars, and skid plates - the accessories that turn a street commuter into a real utility / adventure / rental machine.

Target Commercial Applications

Distributors & wholesalers: Add a multi-terrain EV platform to the line-up that sells to both street commuters and rural / resort buyers.

Rental & tourism fleets: Resorts, adventure parks, and island rentals need a bike that survives a tarmac transfer and a gravel access road - without two separate fleets.

Commercial & campus patrols: Industrial parks, farms, private communities, and security fleets cover both internal roads and unpaved grounds.

FAQ

Q: Why not just sell a pure off-road motocross bike? A: Pure off-road bikes are often not street-legal, have aggressive tire wear on asphalt, and intimidate a large share of rental and commuter buyers. The 90/10 pavement-to-dirt mix is where most dual-sport customers actually ride.

Q: Why not just sell a street bike? A: A street bike's low ground clearance, road tires, and short suspension cannot handle even a gravel access road without bottoming out or spinning. The dual-sport package costs a bit more in road noise and range, but covers use cases a street bike simply cannot.

Q: How rough off-road can it actually go? A: Light off-road - graded gravel, farm tracks, fire roads, packed dirt trails, shallow ruts. Not motocross jumps, single-digit rock crawling, or mud bogging. The chassis and suspension are tuned for that envelope.

Q: How do you handle warranty and spare parts? A: 24 months on motor / battery / controller, 12 months on frame, plus a wearing-parts package with bulk orders for local service.

Q: Can we configure it for our specific terrain? A: Yes. Tire compound, suspension preload, motor power, and accessories (rack / crash bar / skid plate) can be selected based on whether your market skews more toward paved commuting or more toward rural / resort dirt use.
